Gobekli Tepe 

The inspiration for this series comes from an archaeological site in Turkey which is still under excavation. Experts believe that the monumental architectural forms or Gobekli Tepe suggest the beginning of civilisation. My making time drew me to investigate the site from the perspective of its details, and invited me to find my own meanings behind the drawings. The process of making allowed me to travel between past and present, finding a contemporary echo in an ancient human endeavour.
