The series Chairs of Discomfort plays with contrasts. The intriguing, small objects attract viewers and invite them to feel aspects of uncomfortable emotions experienced by the artist, such as the physical discomfort associated with her skin condition, or spaces of mental struggles and overwhelming emotions. The pieces are translations of small drawings that inspired the work.
