Evening Shadow, 2018

This piece, comprising a cup and its pedestal, is part of a series entitled Ode to Tea. The artist revisits the teacup, a form he has explored extensively both as an object and concept. He envisages the cup as a celebration of every day, playing with its form and considering the question of context, placement, and importance of this supposedly simple object.
